On October 23rd, 2008 the first benefit concert in favour of the My Peace Music Institute took place in Vienna. H.E. Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Embassador of India to Austria, kindly adopted the patronage for the evening and expressed his appreciation of the project in a very warm speech. Teachers of the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School, who are familiar with the music institute in Kalimpong, played Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi (see below).
