The My Peace Music Institute is the first project of My Peace Organization (MPO, Reg.Nr. 329-I296/2007), a non-profit initiative established by Chogyal Rinpoche in Kalimpong, West Bengal, India, in 2007. MPO is dedicated to projects serving underpriviledged and people in need.
The My Peace Music Institute (MPMI) was started by Chogyal Rinpoche in 2006 and has been officially established and opened in 2007. It is an independent not-for-profit initiative under the management of My Peace Organization. Its activity is directed towards children and young people, who because of their life circumstances would be entirely excluded from a solid basic and music education. For them it offers free of charge music classes and the opportunity to train for a future career in music or the music industry.
The MPMI employs 3 music teachers, a night-watchman and a cleaning lady.

2) MPO Austria
MPO Austria (ZVR 143104693) was founded by Chogyal Rinpoche and Bettina Kuprian in 2008 as a charitable non-profit association. It raises funds for the upkeeping and development of the My Peace Music Institute and assists the MPMI in management and networking matters. The Board members work on a voluntary basis and cover management and travel costs personally.
